A pleasant reminder to “hold the breath” or be persistent & patient—especially with our keiki. As mākua, we often find ourselves quickly losing our patience with our littles.

It’s taking that deep hanu, holding it at the top--before releasing the hā--thereby allowing us to regain our calm before tackling whatʻs in front of us.
